Exciting news! My childhood home was chosen to be on “Ultimate Homes: Waterfront Edition” on the Discovery Channel! The episode airs TOMORROW (Sunday, August 2nd) at 3pm EDT. Our house was filmed due to the unique building challenges (we have a 300 foot bridge to our house that is covered and 25 feet above ground). Plus, how could you not love the gorgeous views!? The sunsets have been out-of-this-world amazing these past few weeks. I’ll leave you all with some teaser photos :) Make sure to check it out tomorrow and let me know what you think!

What you grew up here! Amazing!
I was definitely spoiled :) My parents built it from scratch which makes it even more special xo
This is the coolest! What a special place to call home.
Awww thanks so much Alex xo

Wow, I can see why they selected your home! The views alone made my heart beat!
The views are quite stunning…in the winter and summer! There is nothing better than a summer sunset or a winter blizzard. I’m so lucky to have grown up in that house :)
I definitely missed this, but that is SO fantastic!! It looks stunning.
Thanks so much! We are trying to get a link to our segment :)

Your home is now featured in the Northern Home & Garden Dec15/Jan16 edition. Your photo of the sunset just to the right of Brush Island is setting over our house! Yours is fantastic. We go by it many times in the summer on our pontoon boat. We grew up on Long Lake, lived in Virginia (outisde of DC) for 35 years and have been back in TC for 9 years. Sorry to have missed the TLC episode. Hope to see it on reruns.
Actually the sun is setting next to Picnic Island in that photo. Still setting over our house.
