What happens when you take two bloggers, gorgeous weather, seaside scenes, and multiple cameras? Crazy photos (let’s be honest, us bloggers will do crazy things for photographs) and my first ever VLOG!!! I headed out to San Francisco a few weeks ago and
crashed at Annie and Justin’s apartment became Annie and Justin’s pretend child for a few days ;) Annie, the amazing photographer and writer behind MontgomeryFest, feels like an older sister to me. I met her in Belgium while she was still an expat and we hit it off right away: between our love of J.Crew, the same blogs, and everything in-between…this girl just gets me :) So we decided to be as over-the-top as possible and take all our blogging magic to the Sutro Baths in San Francisco!
Sutro Baths, constructed in 1896, used to be the world’s largest indoor pool. It closed in the 1960s due to financial reasons. Shortly after closing, the entire building structure burned down. The fire was caused due to arson. Today, the only thing left of the building is a few concrete walls.
Isn’t Annie the cutest?! She’s kind of my favorite :) We had so much fun running all around Sutro Baths and the beach…I definitely got sand everywhere and our clothes were quite soaked by the time we left!
Some might think that this heart is for Annie and Justin…but we all know that it is actually for Annie and JORDAN ;) Also, let’s not even talk about how many tries it took us before we could write this without it being washed away a second later. Not the best at predicting the tide and waves!
Thanks Annie for being a good sport and exploring all these random spots! Also, what you don’t see over all the rocks are lots of surfers! haha, which got me so excited (cue The O.C. music…California, here we comeeeeee!)
I mean, I think we’ve established that a blog post isn’t complete unless there is a picture of me jumping at some point.
Next to Sutro Baths is a gorgeous pathway that will take you to a stunning view of the Golden Gate Bridge. I was lucky enough that it was a clear day with not a bit of fog in the sky!
And now to my first ever vloggggg! Considering Annie and I have never made one before, we kind of just winged it. Props to Annie for putting the entire thing together. She managed to combined video from her camera and my camera into this adorable video :) I’m embarrassed to admit that it took us more time to figure out which song to use than which pieces of video to include ;)
Enjoy this video and thanks for being a great host Annie! :)
