“Ich hab’ mein Herz in Heidelberg verloren.”
I left my heart in Heidelberg. I’ve been attempting to write this blog post for almost a week but words fail me. How do I sum up 18 wonderful, amazing, life-changing months in Heidelberg? I’ve met some of my best friends, taken amazing classes, gone on inspiration trips, and connected with the awesome blogging community!
To write anything down would be meaningless because it wouldn’t adequately describe my experience. So I’ll leave you with some of my favorite photos of the city.
Thanks Heidelberg for the best 18 months of my life!

Ugh, even a month later and I’m missing it so much. Heidelberg is such a magical place 🙂
Such a beautiful place to live! Here is to a new wonderful adventure:)
Awww, thanks so much Kaelene! I know that we’re finally going to meet up one of these days!
Wow, amazing pictures! I bet there is more in store for you next 🙂
Thanks so much Isabel 🙂
I can only imagine how bittersweet saying goodbye to Heidelberg must have been! But here’s to your next adventure! 🙂
Yes, it was very bittersweet (and I still miss it so much!) but you’re totally right, onward to new adventures! 🙂
Gorgeous photos! I know you’re going to enjoy your next adventure just as much 🙂
Let me know if you’re ever in Switzerland (after April) and we can meet up!
Yes! I would LOVE to go skiing in Switzerland! Where exactly are you moving? How exciting!!!
Just outside Basel, so not really a skiing region but Switzerland is sooo small, so everything is close together. It’s only about an hour from Basel to Zurich!
I was only in Heidelberg the one time; that day of the bloggy meetup. It was a lovely town, though. I can imagine it would be great fun to live there for a time.
I miss it so much already! It is a great place to live 🙂
